list of required equipment when going 4 wheeling

here's a list of what is in MY jeep when i go 4 wheeling. there's a lot MORE When going on hammer trail, or long-distance.
when i saw an item that requires KNOWLEDGE, i say so next to it....sometimes one may not realize there's a lot to know about this stuff. in the hands of the untrained, it's use LESS.
oil and coolant
phone and charger and phone numbers on paper with shipping tape on both sides to protect against sweating
gas
water
water
fire extinguisher........with knowledge
compressor
tire guage
baofeng radio....with knowledge
OBD diagnostic....with knowledge
waffle-stomper soled boots....combat boots work very well.
tow strap, at least 3" wide...get the biggest one you can afford/find....with knowledge
a way to attach to another vehicle, including yours, a piece of chain will often connect a strap to a modern vehicle with no bumper or hitch.
a tree strap, something to attach through a wheel spokes so a strap can connect just through a wheel, for example, to pull out of a snowdrift.a bag of basic tools, including snap-ring pliers
chair
a dufflebag full of cold-weather clothes for everyone likely to be in vehicle....with knowledge
roll(Half roll?) of paper towels
hand cleaner
snatchblock, and a length of 3/4 rope to use with it.....with knowledge
fire starter....with knowledge
jumper cables(Long) and brillo pad(fire starter)....with knowledge
knife
T/P or napkins from the fastfood place...use as firstaid, or going to bafroom
electrical tape, new roll
compass....with knowledge
sleepingbag, or at least blanket
raincoat, or at least a trashbag, to makeshift one.
something to eat...pepperoni, jerky, granola....trailmix
flashlights and batteries
550 cord....with knowledge...there's hundreds of uses for paracord
firstaid book....with knowledge
mutitool
e-tool(shovel)
extra glasses
tarps
hatchet
sawyer mini filter....with knowledge
painkillers/antibiotics....with knowledge
maps....with knowledge
thread file
file
vicegrips
digging bar
Individual firstaid kit, including tourniquet, and knowing how to put it on with one hand, and knowing WHEN to use it.....with knowledge
know CPR, and when to apply it.....with knowledge
WORK gloves
and MOST Important of all....MONEY
what can y'all add to it?

Great list Randy.  I carry most of the listed items; however, if I try to carry them all there is no room left for me.  I guess that would keep me safe since I would be relegated to my easy chair watching 4-Wheelin' videos!   ;D

You will have to show me how you pack all that gear into your Jeep!

Good list.
I also bring tire plugs.
Never wheel alone.  But if you must, leave a flight plan: tell someone where you are going and what time you will be back.
