Past Trail Rides & Events Reports / Lytle Creek Ridge Run
Last post by RWMWJK - December 17, 2020, 03:31:32 AM
Big thanks to the members and others that came out on Sunday 12/13 for the Upper Lytle Creek Ridge Run, where we had 13 Rigs! We started the morning with a meet up at 8am at 15/Ranchero for a brief greet/meet and some catch up conversations. We headed out at 8:45am to the trailhead off Lone Pine Canyon, where we aired down, covered last minute adjustments and headed up the trail at 9:30am.
We traveled up about 1800’ in elevation to the ridge line along 3n31 and traveled southeast for most of the trail line, taking in some great views of the High Desert, Cajon Valley, Lytle Creek and Inland Empire Valley.
We stopped a few times along the trail for some great conversations, pictures and views. Near the end we stopped for a great group picture, then traveled down the remainder of the trail where we aired up and departed about 1pm.
Big thanks to everyone that came out, great to see everyone! Please be safe out there, take care of one another, hope to see everyone on another run soon!

Builds / Another XJ update
Last post by RG89XJ - September 20, 2020, 05:35:59 PM
Getting it close to buttoned up. And I starting to Get the satisfaction from the hours of work. I got shorted a piece of my flare kit so only 3 of 4 are on until I get the replacement from manufacturer. Hence the shot of the passenger side. Anyways, hope y’all are doing well and staying healthy. Would like it if some of you would post up how your doing these day.

A little update on the XJ build. Today I actually made a short test drive to check out my redneck alignment. Was pleasantly surprised actually. Drove pretty well for the most part. So most of the mechanical work is complete now. Still have to cut fenders and add flares, rock sliders, and finish front bumper. But once fenders are cut I will be able to do some better testing. Fenders dont like the turns too much. Anyways, hope everyone is doing well! Staying safe in all the craziness. Looking forward to when things start happening again. Take care all.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. Just thought I’d post a little progress on the XJ. Been back to work regularly so it is moving forward slowly. Got the front wheels back on so I can start torquing everything to spec and take measurements for final adjustments. Also got the winch and mount installed. Still a long ways to go. But its nice to see progress. Now its time to pack up the truck and head out again. Sure hope things get back to some kind of normal soon and the club can return to business as usual.
