History:

Victor Valley 4 Wheelers Club was organized and incorporated in the High Desert (Mojave) in 1967 as a nonprofit organization for social and recreational activities involving families, couples and singles serving Adelanto, Apple Valley, Barstow, Hesperia, Oak Hills, Phelan, and Victorville.  We pioneered the world-famous Hammer trails.  Our longest serving member, Chuck Shaner, is affectionately known as the "Father of the Hammers".
