Hello y'all.  I think I have killed all the bugs in my JK, at least for now.  I plan to spend the day exploring some of the interesting / historic stuff in and around Landers.  One of the stops, per other member request, will be at the Gubler Orchid Farm for a tour.  Tours are $5.00 per person, and you must wear closed toe shoes.  We will be searching for other sites of interest.  Details will be discussed at the driver's meeting.

This is an easy, scenic, historic, oddity run.  Bear in mind that some of the trails are new to me so depending upon trail conditions, level of difficulty may vary.  Lockers should not be required.

Meet at Cafe 247.  Driver's meeting at 9:00am.

Well, with oil cooler and housing replaced I am going to give this JK another shot at some dirt. If the Jeep gods are willing, I plan to explore some of the area West of Landers starting along the New Dixie Mine Road. This is intended to be an easy run suitable for stock 4X4s with a low range transfer case.

Driver's meeting is scheduled for 9:00am at Cafe 247 in Lucerne Valley. Come early if you plan to eat.

Hello everyone. It is that time again. This month's Safari Night is this Thursday, 2-20-25 at 5:30pm. We will meet again for dinner at Los Domingo's restaurant on Main Street in Hesperia.

As always, visitors, guests and prospective members are welcome.  We will discuss 4X4 stuff and future runs. See you there!

Failed again at the same location on the trail.  This time it is the infamous oil filter / cooler housing on the 3.6 liter Pentastar engine.  Engine oil everywhere.  The JK is in the shop for warranty repairs.  I am having the housing, oil cooler and all sensors replaced.  I am hoping for shakedown run 3.0 this coming Saturday.....  Fingers crossed.
