JK Shakedown Run 2.0 on Saturday February 15th, 2025

Well, I am going to try it again.  I am taking the "new to me" JK out this Saturday, February 15th for another shakedown run. Trail is not totally defined but will be exploring the area around the Rodman Mountains wilderness area. This should be an easy to moderate run.  No lockers required.  Anyone who wants to tag along should meet at Cafe 247 in Lucerne Valley at 9:00am. Come early if you want to eat.

For any member who has not yet had their rig safety inspected, George Martin will be happy to complete the inspection prior to the run.

Failed again at the same location on the trail.  This time it is the infamous oil filter / cooler housing on the 3.6 liter Pentastar engine.  Engine oil everywhere.  The JK is in the shop for warranty repairs.  I am having the housing, oil cooler and all sensors replaced.  I am hoping for shakedown run 3.0 this coming Saturday.....  Fingers crossed.
