Meet and Greet Safari Night is this Thursday June 16th, 6:00pm, Nick's Pizza corner of Bear Valley Rd & Navajo Rd. After dinner we will do a moonlight trail ride to the "Flagpole" above Apple Valley. This is a local trail with fantastic views of the High Desert and city lights. This trail is easy and suitable for stock 4X4s equipped with a low range transfer case. Lockers are not required. There are a couple of washouts which will test a rig's articulation and the driver's ability to pick the right line. Several mildly rocky sections make airing down to around 15psi desirable for comfort but not necessary for traction. There is a moderate hill climb and a couple of mildly off-camber sections but, nothing that is beyond the ability of a new driver or stock rig. Take your time and ask for spotting assistance when in doubt of the correct line. Bring a flash light and chairs! Hope to see you there!
