Mine site exploration in Ord Mountain and Rodman Mountain area. Sunday, December 18th. We will attempt to find / visit the sites of the Grandview Mine, Copper Strand Mine, Silver Bell Mine and Silver Cliffs Mine. Trail rating is easy / unknown. Main routes are indeed easy but the condition of the spurs to the mines is unknown. We will assess as we go and make decisions based on group capability. Run will depart from Cafe 247 in Lucerne Valley at 9:00am. Please be there by 8:45. Come earlier if you want to eat. Bring lunch, water and sturdy walking shoes.
